BEIJING, November 29 (TMTPOST) — Quantum Fund co-founder James Rogers has confirmed his participation in the 2021 T-EDGE Conference & Awards, an international event hosted by TMTPost.
Rogers will deliver a keynote speech at the conference on the afternoon of December 9.
Known as one of the “big three in the financial world” alongside Warren Buffett and George Soros, Rogers is also one of the most successful practitioners in the securities industry. He accurately predicted the changing trends in the global stock market several times, including the Austria stock market crash in 1984, the 1987 Black Monday, the bubble of the Japanese stock market in the 1990s and the subprime mortgage crisis in 2008. Quantum Fund achieved a return rate of over 50% for ten consecutive years under the leadership of Rogers.
Rogers has a deep understanding of China. In 2008, he published A Bull in China: Investing Profitably in the World"s Greatest Market, in which he highlighted the future prospect of China’s development and expressed his confidence in China’s economic growth. Rogers wrote in the book that the global economy will be driven by Asia’s development in the future and that the 21st century will be China’s era. Investing in China will bring huge returns, Rogers said in his book.
In his new book China Race Track, published in August 2021, Rogers gave his overview of many industries in China, including modern agriculture, tourism and finance. He also offered his take on the core value of the Greater Bay Area in China and his insights into the Belt Road Initiative, development of West China, revitalization of Northeast China and the rise of central China. Rogers reiterated his confidence in China’s development in his new book.
Rogers will be sharing his insights into many of the global economic problems that we face in the post-pandemic era and his advice for investors at the 2021 T-EDGE Conference.
The 2021 T-EDGE Conference & Awards, under the theme “New Mindset”, will be held from December 9 to December 10 in Beijing, China. The conference will consist of an online and offline summit, an award ceremony and several closed-door seminars, featuring sharing sessions that will be attended by leaders and innovators across the globe.
