BEIJING, August 24 (TMTPOST) -- Juneyao Group turned its business direction to the field of new energy vehicles after it failed to participate in the bid for the aviation assets of HNA Group Co.
Juneyao Group has set its eyes on the new energy automobile field. According to the industrial and commercial information, the shareholder information of "Yundo Auto" has changed at the end of June.
The controlling shareholder was changed from Putian State-owned Assets Investment Group Limited Liability Company to Zhuhai Yucheng Investment Center (Limited Partnership), with a shareholding ratio of 85.31%. Putian City State-Owned Assets Investment Co., Ltd.. still retains 8.69% of the shares. The third largest shareholder of Yundu Auto is a Fujian Industry Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), with a 6% shareholding, which is actually controlled by Fujian Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
Zhuhai Yucheng is a partnership managed by Shanghai Juneyao Aviation Investment Co. The company is planning to start the development of its automobile business internally, and may rename Yundu Automobile in the future.
Juneyao Group"s most widely known asset is Juneyao Airlines (603885.SH), which also controls Shanghai AJ Group Co Ltd (600643.SH), Wuxi Commercial Mansion Group Co., Ltd. (600327.SH) and Juneyao Grand Healthy Drinks Co.,Ltd. (605388.SH). AJ Group"s main businesses include trust, financial leasing, asset management and wealth management, private equity investment, etc.. Wuxi Commercial Mansion Group is mainly engaged in department store retail business. Juneyao Grand Healthy Drinks mainly focuses on the research and development, production and sales of room temperature lactic acid bacteria drinks.
According to Juneyao Group"s 2021 annual report, the company"s revenue totaled 27.905 billion yuan ($4.13 billion) and net profit was 925 million yuan ($136.8 million) . By the end of 2021, Juneyao Group"s total assets were 97.725 billion yuan ($14.5 billion) and total liabilities were 68.938 billion yuan ($10.2 billion) .
Zhuhai Yucheng, which is currently the owner of Yundo Automobile, was established in August 2020, with Juneyao Investment as the general partner.
